Toshiba R500, Crash Baby !
Je viens tout juste de recevoir un mail de Paul en Angleterre qui a malencontreusement laissé tomber son petit portable Toshiba R500… En gros, il en aurait pour 680€ de réparation, alors qu’il coûte aux alentours de 1000€.
D’après Paul, son R500 a besoin d’un nouveau boîtier, d’un nouveau lecteur DVDRW/CD, d’un nouveau clavier, d’un nouvel écran, de nombreux stickers (?…), et de beaucoup de main d’oeuvre.

portege, accidentally dropped from near shoulder height onto a solid
marble-tiled floor! Ouch!
total damage approx GB£600, as it needs:
* new top and bottom casing
* new DVDRW/CD
* new keyboard
* new display
* lots of stickers (yes, they have to replace all those stickers too!)
* a lot of labour
It was arguably not worth repairing as it was only had 1 year 6 months
old and would only cost GB£900 or so to replace; we’ll let the insurance
company decide!
