“We experienced a great deal of success with our first waterproof camcorder, the CAMILEO BW10, and found that consumers are eager for Toshiba to bring an even more durable and feature-rich offering to the market,” said Paul Collas, director of marketing, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Digital Life Products and Services. “We’ve improved from our first waterproof model and made a camcorder that is more ruggedized to withstand a stronger level of natural elements to help customers capture those not-to-be-forgotten moments and more easily share them with friends and family.”
Whether digging through sand at the beach, hiking in the woods, running through mud, snorkeling or sailing the open seas, the compact and lightweight CAMILEO BW20 is versatile enough to go where no smartphone dares to go. The BW20 features an f/2.2 aperture lens, 5 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, and video image stabilization to allow users to capture video with greater clarity, even while underwater. The camcorder also allows users to easily share videos and images on YouTube®, Facebook, Picasa and TwitVid with the simple-to-use CAMILEO Uploader software or directly onto an HDTV via an HDMI® output port. The BW20 also comes equipped with a handy floating wrist strap to prevent the memories on the camcorder from sinking and being lost forever.
Pricing and Availability
The CAMILEO BW20 is currently available for purchase for $129.99 MSRP[i] at select retailers, e-tailers and direct from Toshiba at ToshibaDirect.com.
